Job Description
Nutrition R&D Scientist -
We are looking for a person who can develop and analyze nutrition studies
MUST HAVE experience in working with world wide organizations on nutrition policy issues.
MUST HAVE experience in regulatory affairs
MUST HAVE project leadership experience
You will write and present nutrition philosophy to internal and external groups
You must understand the regulatory environment worldwide

PhD or Master degree required for this role.
Cutting edge research and development position in a world class Research and Development (R&D) organization
Looking for a technology leader in NUTRITION
Subject matter expert in nutrition in the food and beverage industry.
Cutting edge scientific leadership role in a multi-billion dollar company

Your duties would involve the following:
  1. Monitor patents, clinical studies and competitive intelligence to determine strategic direction of portions of the company’s R&D efforts.  Provide regulatory insight, from a nutritional perspective, on areas to pursue in R&D and the regulatory hurdles the company might face on new product developments.  Approximately 20% of the time.
  2. Organize, manage and evaluate clinical studies with various internal and external partners.  Some bench work. Approximately 65% of the time.
  3. Develop and present  training presentations regarding nutrition research efforts. Participate and present at industry events.  Approximately 15% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS:
Subject matter expert in the area of nutrition
Must have worked with food or beverage development in your prior roles
Must have knowledge of health benefits of natural products
Knowledge and expertise in project management

You must have Knowledge of food, beverage or ingredients.

Preferred degrees include Chemistry, Materials Science, Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related technical degrees.  It is preferred that one of your degrees is in the nutrition discipline.

We have multiple positions-
We are also looking for expertise in natural product chemistry, medicinal product chemistry, pharmacology, enzyme modification, spray drying, agglomeration, blending or organic chemistry

Both H1B candidates and NAFTA candidates (from Mexico and Canada) will be sponsored by the company.

Salary range is commensurate with experience and will be competitive

Relocation expenses will be paid by the company.
