Job Description
A progressive family owned swine business, one of the top three swine producers in the Midwest that has been a leader in food production for over 25 years, is seeking talented people to help deliver high quality, safe & wholesome pork product to consumers.  The position will focus on achieving stated goals and strategies to accomplish the vision and growth of the company.  They have operations in several Midwestern states all providing an outstanding and professional work setting.
Specific Locations:  Renville, MN; Atkinson, NE and Kansas, IL
 
To be considered for this role:
You must have 3 years of swine production or management experience with a BS/BA degree preferred.

Experience must include all aspects of a swine operation including: Proper Pig Production Practices; General Animal Husbandry; Bio-Security & Safety; Pig Flow; Nutrition; Treatment; Environmental and Recordkeeping.
 
Production:  You will use your expertise to implement action plans to achieve stated goals by Planning & Directing all Production Phases & Required Processes while maintaining strict adherence to protocols.  Also be able to demonstrate your ability to manage priorities in a fast paced changing environment.
 
Employee:  You will provide daily leadership to your staff and engage with your team in timely orientation; training & development when necessary all while promoting a safe and professional work place.  You will demonstrate your high level of professionalism and confidentiality when exercising your problem solving skills and while managing confrontational situations.
 
Cost:  You will constantly assist the company in managing costs in the areas of labor resources; feed; medication inventory and supplies.
