Responsible for overall performance of staff for assigned shift by providing effective direction, follow-up, training and supervision. Responsible for managing production operations consistent with company goals of satisfying customer requirements within government regulations. Responsible for meeting goals in the areas of safety, quality, service, productivity/cost, and morale. Required HS diploma or equivalent, preferred BA/BS in Food Science, Engineering, Business and/or related program Experience required: 4+ years food production experience including 1 year in a supervisory or lead role Resolution of conflicts and manage challenging situations Knowledge of MS Office products Team leadership experience and demonstrated effectiveness in a leadership role Strong planning, organizing, prioritization, and multitasking skills Experience developing and/or conducting production, safety or quality training Performance feedback and efforts with employees to improve performance Flexibility to work nights is required. 3 day/4 day 12 hour shifts alternating each week.
