Job Description
One of the top pork producers in the United States is seeking to add to the diversity of their product offerings by attracting an experienced R& D professional with Red Meat experience.  The position is located at their corporate headquarters in Hatfield, PA.

To be considered for this role.
  • You must have as MS in Food Science and a minimum of 5 years experience leading and managing an R&D team within the Red Meat (Beef/Pork) industry.
  • You must have a track record of developing product solutions & providing technical guidance to a complex red meat processing facility.
  • You must be a technical expert with experience in developing and improving processed products.
Development:  You will be given the autonomy to use your technical knowledge and development skills to focus in value added products, new product offering, ethnic offerings and convenience foods.  You will visit the customer base to determine their needs as compared to company capabilities.

Leadership:  You will lead the product ideation and PRD/PIR change management process.  You will lead & manage a team of technical resources to effectively develop new processed products and improving existing products.  You will also lead efforts to innovate existing processes and identify new/emerging processes & products.
